Requirements relating to IEC 60252-1 durability test sets for AC capacitors

Self-healing capacitors are high-performance capacitors with self-healing capability and high durability. However, in order to ensure the performance stability and long-term reliability of self-healing capacitors, it is important to conduct durability tests under different environmental conditions.

In accordance with IEC60252-1: 2013 AC motor capacitors Part 1: General provisions Performance, tests and ratings Safety requirements Installation and operation guidelines Section 2.13 Durability test requirements, this test is intended to verify the suitability of the capacitor design for the operating class specified by the manufacturer. It is required by the standard to ensure that the capacitor case temperature is as close as possible to the maximum permissible capacitor operating temperature.
Design features.
1. the test cabinet adopts high-grade anti-static spray Xu standard cabinet, the colour is grey-white.
2. display and control: 10-inch colour touch screen + Omron PLC intelligent controller, friendly man-machine interface. The system automatically controls the 3.  boosting and bucking voltage to avoid the influence of power supply fluctuation on the test results: real-time monitoring of reactance current, capacitance current, line current, the capacity of the capacitor changes during the test process or short-circuit, the system automatically adjusts the inductance, capacitance matching.
3. The system can automatically collect the test current of each capacitor and display it.
4. System adopts intelligent controller, AC contactor, circuit breaker, relay and other electrical components are Schneider brand.
5. AC and DC voltage, current, test time and other test parameters are directly displayed on the touch screen. It has the features of simple operation, visual display and convenient adjustment.
6. Protection function: load short circuit, overload protection measures.

Technical parameters.

2Test voltage: 0~1000V continuously and automatically adjustable;

4. test time: 0~9999. 9H can be preset, accuracy ± 0.1S;
