Building component surface flame spread test device 

 

Technical Parameters:

1. The flame propagation test device on the surface of building components consists of a vertically installed radiant heat source plate and a sample holder. The radiation plate heat source is provided by combustible gas and air mixed combustion.

2. Power supply: AC220V ± 10% 50Hz. Radiation heat source plate (main ignition source): Area: 850mm × 850mm, porous burner base.

3. The design should ensure that the mixed gas burns more fully. There should be no open flame burning on the heat source plate during the test.

4. The periphery of the radiant panel is composed of refractory concrete, and the gap between the periphery and the panel is plugged with a flexible non-combustible thermal insulation material.

5. The center of the radiant panel is 1250 ± 100 mm above the floor. The radiant panel is placed on a rigid metal support.

6. Auxiliary burner (secondary fire source): the inner diameter is 3mm and the outer diameter is 6.4mm. Placed at a distance of (28 ± 2) mm from the sample surface, higher than (6 ± 2) mm below the lower edge of the specimen mounting bracket, and (15 ± 5) mm from the vertical edge of the mounting bracket.

7. The sample mounting plate is a water-cooled steel frame panel forming a rotating shaft opposite to the radiation plate, and cooling water is passed on. The mounting plate overlaps the test specimen at their top and bottom edges by 20 ± 5 mm to keep the perimeter of the specimen cool, and clamps the specimen with a spring-loaded clamp. Cooling water temperature control, the maximum during the test does not exceed 35 °.

8. Flame and gas related protection switches and devices (including secondary fire source, gas supply and gas stop control buttons).

9. Heat flux measurement system (imported water- cooled heat flow sensor).

10. The main body of the laboratory consists of the base frame, the radiant heat source plate, the heat source gas supply system (including gas, air and mixing devices), the gas flow control system (pressure and flow control), the test product installation plate, and the cooling water system (including Pumps and water cooling devices, etc.) and test proofing boards.

11. When the system finds a safety problem signal, it can feedback the system in real time and take emergency shutdown safety measures.

12. The electrical signal generated by the thermocouple can be sent to the recorder or computer directly through the temperature transmitter. During the test, the average temperature and single point temperature should be displayed at any time.

13. The test and test control system consists of a pressure sampling system, a temperature sampling control system, a signal acquisition system, a computer system, and a properly designed test and sampling circuit. It is convenient for the user to control the test project process and set the test parameters. Various types of test data are sent to the computer through the sensor sampling. The computer can automatically store and print the data (curve chart) after automatic calculation and processing by the computer. The software can automatically controlled according to the temperature curve, and record the data such as furnace temperature, furnace pressure, and sample back temperature.

14. The system can display data, output query data and curves; and can input the number of the tested sample, test date, etc., to provide query functions. The system automatically stores the serial number, temperature curve and data of the test sample into the database in the system.

15. The device has an electrical safety protection alarm function, an over-temperature protection alarm function, and settings Protective cover with explosive test impact.

16. Computer measurement and control system, including brand computer and LCD monitor, laser printer (optional) and software system.

17, The system does not make a final pass judgment on the sample.

18. Water-cooled imported heat flow meter (optional).

19. Smoke exhaust system: including smoke hood (gas collection chamber), smoke exhaust duct, adjustable  speed exhaust fan, 10 meters pipe (optional).
