Origin of the Glow Wire Test: Many methods have been developed to assess the flammability and fire resistance of materials, including direct and indirect flame combustion test methods. UL 94 specifies the method for direct flame combustion testing, where a flame is directly applied to a vertically or horizontally mounted sample under certain conditions. Indirect flame combustion detection methods use a non-combustible heat source, such as a glowing nickel wire. The results of the tests can be used to compare the ignition resistance, automatic flame extinguishing capability, and tendencies for flame propagation and sustained combustion through dripping of different materials. The Glow Wire Test is an example of an indirect flame combustion method. In 2001, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) established the Glow Wire Test method because the existing test methods did not cover all ignition sources. The Glow Wire Test is used to simulate the heating effects that may occur when electrical equipment malfunctions due to connector overload or device overheating.

Principle of the Glow Wire Test: The Glow Wire Test is performed by passing an electric current through a heating element until it reaches a predetermined temperature. The heating element is called the 'glow wire.' The diagram above shows a commonly used configuration for the Glow Wire Test. The SH5141A Artificial Intelligence Glow Wire Test Instrument produced by Guangzhou Xinhe Testing Equipment Co., Ltd. is designed according to the latest standards such as GB5169.10-13-2017, GB4706.1-2005, IEC60695-2-10, and IEC 60335-1. It is used for conducting ignition hazard tests on electrical and electronic products, household appliances, and their materials, simulating the thermal stress caused by heating elements or overload resistors in a short period of time. It is applicable to the flame retardancy performance of insulation materials such as electronic and electrical product casings.

 Product Features:
1. Equipped with an artificial intelligence flame visual identification and automatic timing system (while retaining manual timing function based on human judgment). It can quickly capture the moment of ignition and start timing immediately, reducing the harm caused by human observation in a hazardous and polluted environment. It provides intelligent identification of flame ignition tests, flame duration, and flame spread, and provides fully automated data analysis and results.
2. Automatic temperature rise: Set any temperature before the test, start the "heating" process, and the system will automatically reach the target temperature in 3-5 minutes. After reaching the target temperature, the system will intelligently adjust the voltage to maintain a constant current, thereby avoiding temperature errors caused by fluctuations in the power grid.
3. The equipment is divided into a main unit and a ventilation cabinet. When the equipment is placed in the ventilation cabinet for testing, operators can use wireless remote control to operate the equipment, which is safer and more convenient.
4. The structure of the control part at the bottom and the test part at the top makes the operation more convenient and effectively reduces the aging of electronic components caused by high test temperatures, prolonging the service life of the equipment.
5. The sample fixture design is novel, making it convenient and quick to install samples. It also takes into account the standard requirement that "heat dissipation caused by support or fixation is negligible." The fixture does not directly contact the test area of the sample, making heat dissipation negligible and the test more accurate. It can rotate, flip, and translate the sample according to its size, shape, and thickness, ensuring that the tested surface remains perpendicular to the glow wire, which is more suitable for samples with varying shapes.
6. Equipped with a 7-inch color touch screen + PLC
